One of Livermore’s favorite local spots, Flaca’s is a family owned and operated to-go restaurant that offers delicious handmade tamales, chips, salsa, soups, Spanish rice, and more.

Flaca’s reached out to me for a total rebrand; they needed assistance creating an entirely new look that still spoke to their loyal customer base but included a new, younger target market. The goal was to maintain a friendly, welcoming feel that their fans know and love. We decided on a more elevated, feminine look- a large contrast from their existing bold, chunky and more masculine vibe. Their new brand colors are a play on traditional Mexican colors, staying true to their family heritage while adding a modern, playful twist.

I feel lucky that I’ve been able to work so closely with Flaca’s! Working with local businesses in my community remain some of my favorite projects.

Additional projects for Flaca’s includes stickers, t-shirts, product labels, tote bags, and menu designs.
